It is expected that the rumored smartphone will sport a 5-inch display and will be powered by the MediaTek MT6589 processor, which currently powers most of the budget quad-core smartphone available in the Indian market, like the Micromax Canvas HD. The report first appeared in DigiTimes.
The latest rumor strongly suggests that Sony is keen to tap-on the emerging markets as it plans to introduce a budget quad-core smartphone. Though there is nothing more known about the smartphone as of now, but it’s being said that the smartphone would be released sometime in Q3 2013.
