Android : Gingerbread still king

Google just updated the Android version distribution charts. In April Android Gingerbread growth started to slow down, while the ICS market share nearly doubled.
The latest version of the Android OS - Ice Cream Sandwich a 4.9% share, up from 2.9% a month ago. We do wonder if it will manage to become the most widely adopted version before Jelly Bean becomes available.

DO NOT GO FOR ICE CREAM SANDWICH UPDATE. Gingerbread is still better and stable. Recently I updated my Sony Neo V to ICS. Sony had already informed on their blog about performance issues. Still I took risk to go for ICS. My Neo V got froze thrice. Nothing was responding. I have to remove the battery. This never happened for a single time when Neo V had Gingerbread. But with ICS it happened just in 10 days of time.  WAIT for stable build at least for Sony mobiles. Others I do not have any update.
